Gewurztraminer Joseph is one of the most representative whites of the Hofstatter winery, one of the historical realities of Termeno, in Alto Adige. This white mirrors the philosophy of the winery and embodies a style played on precision, definition and aromatic sharpness. It comes from careful and environmentally friendly viticulture, with the aim of giving life to an expression that is able to communicate the peculiarities of the territory and of South Tyrolean viticulture in a brilliant and innovative way.
All this is the Gewurztraminer Hofstatter called Joseph, an aromatic white wine with a spicy and fragrant bouquet, full and rich flavor, perfect representation of the terroir. The typicality of the vine is obtained and enhanced through a rigorous and modern production process which contemplates the use of only neutral stainless steel containers. The grapes are lightly pressed and, after a short maceration between the skins and the liquid part, softly pressed. The must obtained is left to decant and then fermented at a controlled temperature.
