Ardbeg Ten Years Old is one of the most appreciated whiskeys in the world, its turbidity and smokiness make it one of the most outstanding single malt complexes. Despite this, the peat flavor is not very ostentatious, indeed its flavor on the palate is naturally sweet, a whiskey with perfect balance. The Ardbeg Ten Years Old is not cold filtered and is bottled at 46% vol. thus preserving its best flavor and at the same time adding body and greater depth.Colour: Straw yellow Aroma: Very peaty but with notes of vanilla and citrus, with the addition of water the oceanic minerality and brackishness come out strongly with notes of lime and beeswax. Taste: An explosion of peat, the hallmark of Ardbeg, then the sweetness of vanilla which is balanced by lime, black pepper and cinnamon. Finish: Long, persistent and smoky with notes of aniseed, toasted almonds and traces of barley and fresh pear.
